We arrived a little before the sun came up 7/16. We landed about 50 fish between the two of us between sun up and 11 am. Water clarity was about 4 feet and the lake holds plenty of small bream for bait fish. Watermellon 6 inch worms and Chartruse H&H spinner baits did the trick. This is a very nice lake and we really enjoyed the morning.

There is road construction going on right where you enter the property and a club sign posted at the entry gate would have made our finding the lake easier in the dark. I really prefer a lake where you can fish wothout the road noise we experienced.

The lake is worth a visit - plenty of action. I suggest down sizing your gear for more sport as most of the catch was under 13 inches in length. The fish are healthy although.

I’m looking forward to fishing additional club lakes this summer. 1/2 days are plenty in this heat.
