Fished an afternoon trip with Richard Tedder and his 2 guest.. Mr. Yates met as pulled up and said it had rained almost 2" Thursday night. Could not even see boat ramp…Richard tried launching fished backed but Mr Yates had to pull him out with tractor I did not even attempt to try used tractor to put my boat in and finally around 1:30 started fishing. Slow at first then picked up using swim baits and speed crawls. Fish still in spawn in grass mostly. Our largest fish was 5.3. We totaled 57 with 43 harvest fish. Was able to fish to 7 with another storm coming in can't image what that will do to lake. A big thanks to Mr Yates for helping launch our boats otherwise we could not have fished. Mrs. Yates brought us sandwiches and drinks during a stop we made. What great people!
