6/9/15. Fished 2-8pm. 95+ degrees with very little wind. Portable fish finder said surface temp was 90. Water was still high from rains, but had come down significantly based on high-water line. Caught a couple nice bass on swim baits. They were very fat and healthy. Also caught a couple nice crappie on jigs. Overall it was a slow day, but that’s to be expected with the heat and water clarity. Boat seats had wasps nesting under them. Didn’t really want a wasp crawling up my legs, so spent some time trying to kill them off before going out. Might be smart to bring some wasp spray next time! Otherwise, it was a nice day to be out on the water!

Thanks Neil - heading out there this Thursday for my first adventure with PWF. I’m assuming it will be another hot texas day, so would appreciate any suggestions- and will add my comment afterwards. Thanks again
