My 9 year old son and I fished Seagoville Turf Tanks from 6AM-10AM.  Landowner stopped by and checked on us, a very nice guy.  No topwater action at all.  Switched to spinnerbaits and flukes.  White flukes were the ticket of the day.  Caught 6 total (and missed about as many), with my son catching the biggest one.  Measured 19 healthy inches, and put up a great fight.  All fish looked healthy, saw alot of Gar in the smaller tank.  Had a fun and peaceful morning of fishing!

I’m glad the flukes worked. I have had my best days using watermelon red fluke with a finishing nail in the head of the fluke.

In March of this year the water at this location had grown from 25 acres of water last October to more than 70 acres of water. Chet, do you hazzard a guess on acres of water?

This site has been forgotten a little bit this year. For several years it was a top 10 used site. Most of the reports this year have been good.

To be honest, I can’t really tell how many acres of water there is, but it is up several feet from when we were there last September.  The water is not as clear either, which is a good thing.  There is alot less floating weed on the large tank then there was last year.  It may not be a very pretty location to fish, but it is quiet, peaceful, and has quality bass in it. It’s a great place to hit close to the metroplex!
