I made it out to Six-O-Ranch around 7 in the morning and was fishing around the dock and shore by the shed by about 7:15. For the next 2 ½ hours I caught some of the most gigantic copper-nose blue gill I have ever seen. I landed 23, hooked and lost quite a few more. They were absolutely ferocious in their competition for my fly. I used a 6wt fly rod, but when I return I will be packing my 3wt. I didn't catch any bass, but I wasn't targeting them either. In the middle of the lake I noticed quite a lot of commotion from what I will assume were schooling fish. A very peaceful morning on a beautiful property
