It doesn't seem like this property gets alot of fishing pressure so I thought I'd give an update.  I was fishing with my 9 year old son so we were not fishing hard (more guiding on my part).

The property is really pretty.  The lake is down a few feet from the shoreline.  The long "finger like" end of the lake was completely covered in moss so was not really fishable.   It would be hard to fish the lake from the bank with the exception of the area of by the house and the dam (which instructions said to avoid) so we fished from the boat on the property.  The boat has a small leak but worked fine.  I brought my own paddles which was a good thing.  The paddle with the boat is broken and not usable.

We caught fish on Senkos and Power worms (Red Shad and Tequilla Sunrise).  I caught one on a topwater - Torpedo.  Nothing big, all around 14 - 16 inches.  We caught 5 total and missed a few bites in around two hours of fishing.   Most fish were caught near the dam.

The weather was beautiful.  The lake could use some work but was still fun.

Jason,

Thanks for the update. You are correct Fedor does not see a lot of pressure. We were aware that the lake has a Filamentous Algae issue. However, the landowner sprayed 1/2 of the lake a few weeks ago and will be spraying the other 1/2 in just a few days. You typically want to reduce vegetation in stages. as opposed to all at once. Killing it all at one time can create an oxygen crash.

5 fish in a couple of hours with a 9 year old is not too bad. The other finger should be available to fish in a couple of weeks.

Steve,
Thanks for the update.  We’ll give it another shot in a few weeks
