Fished Pasture lake for a half day today. Started about 6:50am on the shore with frogs, finished the day in the boat. Ended up with 24 total. These fish are healthy, and fight like mad! I have caught 5 pounders with less fight than the 2.5 pounders at this lake! Lure of the day was chrome rattletraps. This is a great property to fish, we will be back! FYI, if you use the green plastic boat, make sure the battery is charged.

The Interstate battery that was there a month ago, is the owners son’s battery and does not offer a dependable charge (the owner does not charge). Members, remember to bring your own battery. As much as it troubles me to say it, always bring a back up battery, even on the properties where the battery is provided. I always carry a spare trolling motor and battery.
