Bank fished the afternoon of Feb 11 with member, fly fisherman, Tom Blailock. We were greeted by bright sky and strong winds, but the big challenge was muddy water. The lake was full and visibility was limited to a few inches. I have never seen the lake this high, but is was not going over the spillway.  We managed to catch 4, biggest about 2.5 lbs.

Looks like the beavers have attempted to convert the small pier into a beaver dam. Most of the willows around the lake have been cut down and piled right where the pier and the land meet. Very unusual. Be careful driving the last leg to the lake. The road has become challenging. You may need to drive around as I did on the way back out.  Nevertheless, it was great beautiful day to visit Huntsville and enjoy the outdoors.
