As a new member, I was looking forward to my third trip Sun. afternoon. Since I had forgotten my net, I was glad to see there was an oar and net in the boat (net was not needed, unfortunately). Water stained. Temp: 58 - 61. Started out very windy.  Cloudy for most of the afternoon. Threw everything at 'em, but only 1 taker near the end of the day.  Nice property and peaceful day on the water.

I met the owner and he showed me pictures of some nice fish caught last Nov, including a 5, 6 and a 9 lb’er. He said it had been hit or miss lately.  Clearly a miss for me.  There were signs of beavers working on several trees near the shoreline he was concerned about.

Look forward to returning when it heats up. I really appreciate reading all the fantastic member reports and trying to learn the properties.  My non-fishing wife is also eager to try some of the lodging opportunities as well.

Welcome, Keith! Glad you are enjoying your membership. There are numerous locations that have nice lodging. Some are bed and breakfast quality. Call Seth at the PWF office for suggestions.
