Fished Deer Trail for a half day today.  Hit the water before 7 and finished around 11:30.  Reports of this being a numbers lake have NOT been exaggerated!  My 9 year old and I caught a total of 41 for the day.  Most were small, around 12”-14”, and we harvested 29 total per club directive.  Largest ones barely made 16”, but my son had a blast with almost non stop action!  Lake is very scenic and peaceful.  Water clarity is pretty clear, about 36”.  Boat was easy to launch, and both spacious and comfortable.  All in all, a great day with my son.  This is a really, really nice property!
