We had a good half day of fishing last Thursday at Melody Acres. Adam and I caught 15 and landed 9. Below is a picture of the largest that I caught weighing in at 6lb 3oz.
We tried several baits including buzz baits, crank baits and soft plastics. All of ours were caught on Fred Young Big O Lure crank bait near the dam or on baby bass colored bass assassins.
We caught no fish under 14

Robert,
For a summertime bass, that is a nice chunk. Usually not that fat this time of year. Crockett must have had a really good bluegill spawn this summer.
