Three guys fished Bennett the afternoon of the 26th. Bennett is a favorite as it's a great looking lake, has lots of strong good sized fish, and although it's a long drive….it's usually worth the effort. Cloud cover, warm afternoon temperatures, lite winds and high hopes. Caught @ 50 +, the good. With the exception of only three fish all could have been harvested… if this was a harvest location, the not so good. One guy was responsible for @ 30 of our total, the bad for the other two. Many were caught on a green Fluke, but others were on a verity of presentations, locations and depth. I.E. no discernable pattern. A 6.5, a 3+ were the high light, also the good and the bad, as both were caught by the same person. This left us to wonder where the quality fish we have come to expect were hiding. We sought but could not find….... the very sad.
