Fished last Saturday 09/11. My eyes lit up when I saw all that timber in the water to fish. Caught about 20 or so on various lures and soft baits. These fish need some relief aid, they were all skinny. A couple of them didnt have the strength to fight. But I love this place, had a good time. Might need to send some baitfish out there though

Thank you for the report. I have not fished this lake since May, but I am suprised about the health of the fish. As we have added as much forage fish to this lake as we have any lake in the club. There should be a ton of food for the fish to eat. We have fertilized, added tilapia, added shad, added copperenose blue gill and added red ear sun fish. It sounds like we may need to consider harvesting fish from the lake. I will need to discuss this with the landowner. I am disappointed and suprised to hear that the fish are “skinny”. Oh well, we will keep plugging.
