Fished this lake this morning. Was on the water at first light and fished until just after 11 when I got tired of fighting the wind. I caught 6 fish, all on weightless Senko or Rage Tail Craw. One fish was 5lbs, plus a 4 and a 3. Really healthy looking and fought hard.
I have only fished this lake 2 or 3 times in the past, and it has been a while. My perception is that the vegetation is far worse now than last time I fished it, a couple of years ago? Can anybody else comment?

I fished this lake on the 23rd of April in the afternoon, and only caught one fish. It was a decent 3lb fish, but the water clarity was poor and the weeds were much worse than in the past. I have fished this lake 3-5 times over the last 3 years and this was teh first time I was disappointed. The coon tail is fine, it is the algae that is bad. It is hard to fish even with a weightless senko.
