Fellow member Michael Sanderson and I fished Oak Meadow this last Saturday with our teenage sons.  This place is really beautiful.  We saw deer and turkey on the way in and heard the turkeys throughout the day.  Between us all we caught 116 bass, 7 bream and 1 crappie.  Some of the bass were culls 30 +/- but the rest were healthy fighting 2+ pounders.  Largest fish of the day was in the 4 pound range.   We caught some of the fish back in "creeks" away from the dam and caught a lot of fish just outside the weedline around the shore.  We didn't catch very many fishing along the dam.  We came in after it rained the night before and having a 4 wheel drive came in mighty handy as the road gets really sloggy when wet.  Despite the rain the night before the water in the lake was really clean and clear.  Just a great day outside at another beautiful PW place.
