Hello PWF fans.  My 6th trip as a member with a guest on flooded waters was very slow.  The water was up to within a foot of covering the ramp.  I assume the fish I saw on the locater must have been full, feasting on new covered grass. Most of the fish were on the half of the lake near the dam.  Few fish were marked on the shallower (north?) side.  We hit the banks as well as around the aerators. Did not see any lilly pads.

The catfish was 5.5 lbs. caught on a wacky rigged black/blue senko at 10am.  This was my first catfish ever caught on a lure. So that made it a memorable trip.  We threw topwaters, buzz-frogs, brush hogs, jigs, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, inline spinner, and a variety of other soft plastics.

We spent 2 - 4 eating lunch and crappie fishing from the shaded boat dock.  Zero bites. One of the bass was caught on a jig right off the bank in weeds from the walkway.

I noticed Sunday, June 5, was ranked as a 90 on the AstroTables with 11:15am - 3:15pm as the best fishing time of the month.  Not so much for us!  Has anyone had success using these tables?

Beautiful lake.  Hope to return when water level is down to normal.
