Fished with my 10 year old today.  Fished from about 7-10.  Wind started picking up pretty heavy about 930 and we cut the morning short.

We caught about a dozen or so on just about anything.  wacky, frogs, buzz, traps.  Biggest bass were going after black and blue jigs with crawfish trailers.  My son thought his cast was over and started reeling in a jig close to the boat and a bass hit it and yanked the rod out of his hands.  He picked it up and got some tension on the fish.  The fish took a run under the boat and got off.  He was excited and disappointed at the same time.  Only a couple of dinks, the rest were in the 2-3#.

Water quality still good, weeds are not bad at all
