Got on the water around 6:30a and fished until 11:45a, myself, my son and his buddy (both 11). The property is absolutely beautiful. We used the on-site boat which was perfect for us. I am now considering purchasing one similar.

We started off with top water and found it to be extremely slow. I managed to boat a 5.28 lber and had another similar sized one come unbuttoned at the boat but other than those two, there wasn’t much of a top water bite.

We threw everything we had and managed to boat around 8 fish with 4 of those being under the slot so they found their way in the fishbox on the dock. We had at least 12 fish come unbuttoned or it would have been a much better day.

All in all, another great trip on a fantastic property.
