Fished Crossroads with another member Wednesday morning.Caught 36 bass,and removed 17 of those.The ones we removed were mostly very nice 12" - 13" fish.The grass is up within 12" of the surface over 60 % of the lake. We used Tx rig worms with a light wt or no wt. Not a strike on a frog or fluke.We did not try any spinner baits.

Came across some bream spawning and caught 24 in that one area.They ran from large to almost huge.Armed with a fly rod that was my most enjoyable part of the trip.

From the launch area the water is only about 10" deep for 20 feet.We had no problem with our kayaks but boats could have a difficult time.
