It was windy as usual at Clifton.  The ride in was nice as I saw two bucks and a doe in the pasture plus two big flocks of Canadian Honkers on the water.  There are also two flocks of ducks on the tank.  Caught about the same number of fish as always around 30 for the day (8 hours).  About half of them 12 inches and under.  Caught 3 nice fish down at the north end, a 20 inch, 18 inch and a 17 inch the balance of the fish went between 14 and 15 inches. Used plastics (Yum and Zoom) Watermelon, bubblegum and Red Shad. Caught the 18 incher on a horny toad (pumpkin).  I’m making progress as I’ve attached a ruler in my Bass Tender boat, next thing you know I’ll be getting a scale to weigh them. The biggest fish had to be between 4 and 5 pounds.  The water is off color, visibility was 2 feet and the tank is full. If we could only do something with the wind.  Maybe a big wind breaker on the dam like I used to use on Lake Erie Ice fishing. The entire area has been mowed and lake is fishable from the bank around the entire lake. If the grass is wet make sure you dust with Sulphur powder.
