Fingerling
John Shepard and I had a fun day at Thompson's Ranch mostly using buzzbaits around the grassy edges early morning. We caught about 30 between us the biggest being a couple of 4 lbers and averaging 2-3 lbs for the majority. We caught a few with squarebills and plastics but the buzzbait seemed to work the best. The dam is tough to fish from the bank due mostly to the grass and weeds on the banks are getting waste high and 4-6 ft from the waters edge. Probably would have caught a few more bigger ones if fishing from a boat in front of the grassy banks but had fun none the less.
