Fished Black Hat on 7-30 in am. Did not get a single bite.Second trip to this site without a bite.
If anyone has some information on where you can find fish on this lake during summer would be interested
to hear. I have enjoyed fishing this lake last summer.

When we fished it a few weeks back, it was also slow as per my report. We picked up a number of fish out of the aerators up to 3 pounds, but very few on the dam, the brush piles, and nothing around the islands, which was a surprise. Working deep cranks in the channel was also fruitless, and only one small crappie. I'm waiting for October to venture back there.
