Fished Melody Acres on Sept 2.   Got there a little late so didn't get on the water until 8:30 and fished until  around 11:30 am.  Beautiful lake that was full with some lily pads.  Temp was 88 and water was a little stained with 2' of visibility. Caught about 15, half bass and half crappie.  Three of the crappie were over 1 lb and lost quite of few more that were probably on the smaller size.  Most of the bass were less than 2 lb but did catch one that was in the 4-5 lb range.  Bass mostly caught on soft plastics while the crappie were mostly caught on beetle spins.

Landowners were very friendly and helped out with a trailer issue I had.  Property has cows, sheep, chickens, beehives and dogs.   Brought some honey from the landowner.  Will be back.
