Took the opportunity to fish Gallant Elms on Sept 30 from 7-noon before it closes for hunting season. First time on the water in over 2 months and I first thought I was not going to catch much. 

Conditions :

Water temp: 73-75

Air temp: 51-73

water was clear to 4 ft

I caught a total of 18 and culled 4. This time there was a little top water action using a Zara spook. Caught the majority on a medium diving crank (red/blk/chart). Most were 2-3# with two around 4#. 

Looking forward fishing the new property in Kyle on Tuesday. If anyone wants to join me, it is available for partnering and the boat is available.
