Murray Camp
Fry
Fished noon to 5:30. Water temp was 74 to 76 by end of day. Water was relatively clear, about 20" with no detectable stain. Lake appeared to be about 2-3 feet low. Caught 10, largest maybe 1.5 lbs. Vast majority in 12" class size or smaller. 8 were on a shallow SLCB (craw pattern) and 2 on senkos. Nothing on craw worm, curly tail worm, trap, med. diving SLCB, or swimbait.
Beautiful property, but hard to fish IMO. Lots of brush piles, but they are close to the shoreline, so either exposed or in very shallow water due to lake level. I could not find any cover at the 5-8' (or deeper) range. Tried cranking and C-rigging some drop offs but no luck deeper. Very limited vegetation. This lake may benefit from some brush piles (or attractors) in deeper water to account for the vacillating water levels.
