I fished this lake Oct 13 for 3 hours in the morning then 3 hours towards dusk.  Interesting lake!  Started very early surrounded with fog and caught several fairly nice bass on buzz baits.  This was difficult though because most were sitting in weeds in about one foot of water.  Gotta set the trolling motor shallow!  I tried rattle traps all over near the dam with no bites.  Finally got a small one on a crank. Tried worms and flukes but no bites on those.  I even went to a little white twister tail just to catch something - but no luck. The lake is beautiful but it's strange to see rooftops all around and hear traffic.  It is a bird sanctuary right now!  Got to meet the property owner - great guy.  The property is kept extremely well.  Oh, I did catch a channel cat on a small grubtail that weighed in at 8-2. Biggest bass was 2-5, with lots of dinks.  Not one crappie.
