First about family ties. 

Over the past weekend, several of my wife's cousins were visiting and told them about Brushy Creek. As I provided specific details about the location and then used Google Earth, everyone said that is Aunt Emma's old place. It turns out this property was owned by my wife's aunt and uncle when she was growing up and the extended family would spend their summers there. 

Now for the report. 

Caught a total of 4 all in the 3# range. Two on a ribbit frog and two one a medium diving crank. All in the morning and the bite stopped after lunch.
