Fished brushy creek today and was excited because it is not too far away from me. Started about 7:30 am. Foggy, Water temp about 73 degrees, calm and first cast had a light tap on a wacky senko. The next six hours not even a tap or strike. Tried top waters, senkos, worms, bladed and lipless crank baits, swimming jig all in different colors and styles. First time to be blanked since joinng the club. Such is fishing and makes the good catches even better. Sitting by the pool drinking a beer, licking my wounds Lots of very shallow water. 1 to 3 feet. Deepest Ilocated was 8 feet

That is surprising to hear,  this lake has been very productive for me.  There is grass in the mid section of the lake that is 5-6'  and we have caught several over 4 in that area.
