My fishing buddy, Mr. Cortney Coe celebrated his birthday today on Oak Meadow Lake. He wanted numbers. What a beautiful weather day and the fish were cooperating. Fished 8 am to 6 pm. with probably 90 minutes off the water for lunch and a short siesta. Caught at least 50, missed at least 20. Larger fish were about 3 pounds. Typical fish was 14 to 16 inches long. Only harvested 6 dinks.Red Shad worms were the ticket on the standing timber just to the left of the tent area across from the boat launch area. Nice property and lake. Our first trip there. This property is a numbers lake, so if you want action - this is a contender. It's worth a visit.
