Member Tom Blailock and I fished Grapeland from about 9 AM to 2:30 PM on Tuesday Nov 22. After the 30 degree weather provided by a recent front, we were unsure of what the day would bring. Nevertheless, the weather had turned mild with a nice overcast anticipating another front moving in.  It would have been a good day for a fish locator/depth finder device that we did not have. So we worked as much of the lake as possible, both shallow and deep, and finally found some bunched up along a line between the peninsular and the dam. We ended up with 12, to about 2 lbs., which also included 1 catfish and 1 crappie. Most fish we caught on a 5 in chartreuse Wave Worm rigged wacky style as it settled into the grass beds.

The electric gate worked fine on the way in, but did not automatically open when approached on the way out.
