My son arrived to Mr Yates place a few hours before I did. He almost caused me to get a speeding ticket because he was sending pic after pic of chunky fish. I finally got there about 3:45 on Friday afternoon. We wore them out on spinnerbaits and caught a few on Senkos. Pretty day, nice and sunny with very little wind.  Saturday was a different story… wind got up about an hour after we got on the water and it got worse.  We caught a few fish here and there. No pattern or specific bait did the trick.  Patience and persistence   Ended up with a 5, several 4s, and a dozen or so 2s and 3s.  Harvested 8.  Beautiful property.  Mr Yates is an awesome guy. Sassy couldn't wait to come check us out every time we came back to the cabin.  I can't wait to get back there when it warms up.
