My wife and I were traveling a bit in the Texas Hill Country and I had a chance to stop by the new property in Kyle on the way back to Houston.  Brushy Creek is a nice, big lake with easy access.   I used the property boat which was a real nice jon boat.  Wind was blowing pretty hard which made fishing  bit of a challenge but I managed to catch 7 bass from 2 to 4 pounds in 3 hours of fishing.  Best lures were chatter baits and big swim baits.  Good new lake for the club,  Im sure some big bass will be caught from this lake later in the Spring.
