A guest and I caught about 25 bass and 1 large crappie which came on a on a top water. Bass were scattered and most were 14 to 16 inches and healthy. Water was very clear- 4 foot vis.  Blue seemed to be the best color on worms and jigs. The rattle trap bite heated up off of points in open water in front of timber later in the morning. There was no top water bite really as we did not start fishing until 8:30 or so.  I like this lake as structure is abundant. It's a numbers lake.   What a weather day for Feb. - 76 degrees and little to no wind. Sweet!
