My wife and I fished Bennett on Saturday under breezy (okay mostly very windy!) partly-cloudy to sunny skies on Saturday 02/11.  We fished about 7 hours and landed a total of 46 (including about a 5 or 6lb channel cat a large crappie on bass lures).  Looking back at the pics, I'd say very roughly that 1/3 were in the dink to 1lb class, 1/3 were in the 1 to 2lb class and 1/3 in the 2 to 3lb class.  Finally, my last fish of the day was a 4 1/2 lber.  There was no real pattern other than most fish were caught in 4 to 6 ft depths (not too close to shore and not off the deeper slopes).  As far as baits, again no real pattern other than the baits were moving (chatterbait, jerkbait, swimbait, swimjig & squarebill) - then again wind and boat control would've made deadsticking or dragging plastics very difficult.  The lake was full and very clear (visibility up to 5 ft).  I was surprised by the clarity and the amount of submerged vegetation, I guess suspected some die off of the vegetation, but it is thick - especially on the shallow flat of the upper end so finding and presenting into the pockets was a challenge, but rewarded.
