Spent the weekend of February 25-26 fishing Melody Acres with my favorite fishing partner, my daughter, Claire.  Cold front moved in, wind blew all weekend, but still had a great time.  Caught a total of 11 over the weekend, largest being 5.24.  Claire, who is 9, landed her largest to date at 4 lbs!  All fish came on a watermelon senko, wacky rigged.  This is our fourth trip to Melody Acres over the last 6 months(first report, sorry) and fishing and fun is always consistent.  My family loves the cabin there, and Patti and Isa are wonderful host.  They let my daughter feed the sheep, collect eggs in the morning, and chase the dogs all over the farm.  Anytime I ask my family where they want to fish it's always Melody Acres.  If you're looking for a place for the whole famiy, this is it.
