I booked for all day today, but I got a late start this morning and didn't make my first cast until shortly after 8:00. The only hit I had was a 13.5" scrapper that hit a chartreuse/white/yellow Nasty chatterbait with a baby bass Lake Fork Magic Shad trailer on the bank straight across from the ramp. By that time my hands were so cold they were hurting a lot. A few minutes more, and they were just about too numb to use. I called it a day and headed home before 11:00. Since my surgeries last fall, I just can't take the cold anymore. Oh, well…at least I can still fish, and warm weather will return.
