First time to fish Lakeside and not fight the wind! Had a great day boating a nice toad nearly 8 lbs a 7 pounder and 6 pounder. Total was about 20 with just two harvested. All hit a watermelon red senko in 2 to 6 feet. The E bank south of the cabin and the main point were the payoff spots. On a fun note I stopped at the chicken place on the way home and met two nice bass fishermen in their 55K Ranger with 275 HP on the back. They asked me how I did in my little plastic boat. I showed them pictures and them asked how they did. They told me it was a bluebird day, high sky, no wind and the moon was up. I told them about PWF, they did'nt seem to be coverts. Oh well…..

LOL - not a bad day for a guy in a "little plastic boat"!  Congrats on a great day at Lake Side Paul.  I appreciate your reports.

Nice report, Paul. Congrats on the nice big girls, too, and no howling wind was a bonus!

Mark and Tom thanks for your reply, you both are great at reporting as well. I think Lakeside is great example if how PWF management of a small lake can work to produce quality fish. Tom you had asked about the pads in an earlier reply. They are just starting to grow. The three big bass all came from the edge of the pads in about five feet of water.

Sounds like a great day!  The fish at Lakeside are really strong.
