Two of us fished here Apr 7. This is a pretty lake on a really cool working farm.  Owners are great hosts, and the lodging is first-rate, comfortable and private. Owners will sell you high quality beef, local honey and homemade scented soaps if you want to take something nice home to your wife.            However . . . . The fishing was not good. Barometer was high, though, the skies were clear and the winds were robust. Different weather might have given us more fish.  Lake has nice grass throughout for cover, but the water was very muddy, as we understand it normally is here.  We prob should have tried spinners or chatter baits.
