Two of us fished here on April 8. We didn't have the best fishing conditions - it was cloudless and very windy all day. Top water baits worked well early, then we switched to grub tails and small tube worms. The bass were hungry and aggressive with the grub tails, but the bite was subtle and light when we fished deeper in the creek channels.  The water was clear and the lake is gorgeous!  We used small bass baits, and that's what we caught.  Small bass.  Only 3 fish were over 14", and those not by much.  Had we fished for big bass we might have found some - don't know. But we had a blast catching so many small ones. We quit around 3 pm or so, and we harvested about 75 fish on the day. Next time we might gear up with ultralight tackle and have some more fun!
