Son and I fished the afternoon.  Water was 2-3 feet down, great color and lots of weeds in the2-3 foot water range, but not bad once you got out past five feet or so of depth.

We caught 17 bass, all over the harvest limit.  We caught most in the timber, but had some nice hits/catches along the dam as well.  We also caught 6-7 monster crappie in the trees - They were hitting sexy shad cranks and rattletraps.  The biggest crappie we have ever caught.  Bass came on cranks, traps, lizzards and jig/craw combos.  Very good fishing.  Wind was tough - It would blow hard for 30/40 minutes and then lay down for 15/20, but it was blowing.

Hand launch near the rock piles was easy.  Really awesome day overall.  Check it out if you have not been there.  Lots of great structure/trees to fish.
