Took my two young boys to Lakeside yesterday afternoon. We fished from 4:30 to just past sunset. Caught 9, and culled 8. All fish caught on one of two lures, wacky rigged watermelon & red flake senko, and the Yellow Magic. The fish we returned was 19" and 4lbs on the dot. Had two others on that were as big or bigger. One just wasn't hooked well, the other wrapped himself around a pier post and broke me off. That one made me sick, cause that was a HEAVY fish. No real hot spot, but the marked brush piles I'd say were best. Beautiful end of the day sunset after he wind died too. Great way to kill a few hours and let the boys take turns reeling them in. :)
