Fished Gallant Elms on the afternoon of June 12th and departed around 6 (rudder cable came lose so I left a little early).

Conditions:

When I arrived, the skys were 100% clouds and a fairly nice wind was blowing.  By the time I rigged the kayak, it wa almost 100% blue skys, but some wind did remain.  Water temperature was about 82 degrees.  Water was clear to about 5-6 ft. I ended with 16 fish (14 culled, with several near 14 inches).  I was catching them on multiple lures (weighted paddle tail, spinner, square-billed shallow running crank bouncing of timber, rattle trap).  From around 4-5:30 they really were hitting the rattle trap.  All were aggressive and fought like they were much larger.

Let's all keep culling so this property is known for large bass.  It has all the needed environments:

- brush piles

- standing timber in 4-5 locations

- several rock ledges

- submerged vegetation
