Took a guest to 9G for a good introduction to PWF. Friday turned out to be the hottest and calmest day of the year - so I almost fished my guest to death I think. Overall, it was another productive PWF day with a good number of bass, but with fewer quality of fish than a previous outing on 9G. Besides some dinks, we boated a good number of 1.5 to 2.75 lb fish. Most productive tactics were swimbaits and spinnerbaits and then as the sun grew higher and hotter, the bite turned more towards T-Rig plastics. The fish were primarily relating to the abundant coontail. Water is super clear.
