Went out for a PM fish with a guest.  When first arriving it was pretty breezy so fished from the shore for an hour or so.  You can fish from shore all the way around with the possible exception of the dam.  My guest caught one on very first cast and we pulled 5-6 from shore fishing.

Caught a total of 23(culling only 3) in just under 4 hours.  Got into the boat for the last 3 hours or so.  Most of the fish were caught on TX and Wacky rigged senkos with more on wacky from the boat.  Caught two fish on something other than that.  Caught one on a spinner and another on a swim bait both on the very first cast with blanks after that.  Largest fish was 2.5lbs.  No top water action tried a frog anyway and no bites on that.

I was expecting a lot of grass based on prior reports and there was plenty but also plenty to room to fish.  Fish all were strong even though they weren't that heavy.  Looked very healthy with exception of one long skinny one.  Less grass on the south side of lake.  No fish from dam for us.  All of the boated fish were on the south central side to middle of the lake.

Property is absolutely beautiful.  Working cattle ranch and cows and two llamas where around all day.  Last half hour was really calm and we were treated to a great sunset.

Boat does lack a plug so if you are planning to use make sure you bring one with you.
