A guest and I fished Dogwood East on Tuesday, 3 October from first light until thunder drove us off the lake around 2:30. Our total catch was 12 dinks and, at 8:00 a.m, a 7-02 that hit a chrome/black back, 3/4 oz Rattletrap from the channel back where the lake narrows down. We were fishing for that one big girl, but she never showed.
