Partner and I fished Backside on 10/7/17 from 7:45AM to 3:00PM.  The lake is as described.  High clearance vehicle required.  Beautiful country and lake setting.  We located fish suspended around 10'-12' feet in 15'- 20' feet depth, near the drop offs on the rocky shore side.  Threw everything.  Not a single bite.  Strictly a good day for "fishing" and not "catching".  It happens.
