I took my father, nephew and good friend to Yates Place this past weekend.  Fishing in the morning was tough, but we finally located the fish in the afternoon in the creek channel - they were biting pretty solidly there.  Paul, my friend, caught 20 by himself and I lost a good one but have caught many good ones there previously which makes up for the loss:)

I think we had about 10 under 14" and the rest were solid fish in the 2-4lb range fishing 10" red shad Berkeley Power Worms in the channel deep.  Dwayne and Kay were very accommodating as usual and are great people, landowners and Christian Believers!  I Love Them!

The bass should be biting now I would think as the water cools some.  Make a trip out to Yates Place and have fun, always!
