Fished 9G yesterday with my brother from noon to 6pm - beautiful sunny day in the upper 70's, slight north breeze. Water was a little stained, especially on the south side - probably from the high winds / rain / waves over the weekend. Took us a little while to find them, they were most active in the shallows at the north end where the water was clearer, and warming up in the sun; was fun watching them attack the bait in 2' of water. Free-lined senkos in about any color worked best. Rattle traps, carolina rig in the deep channel, jerk bait, texas rig all didn't work. We ended up catching about 30, biggest around 3lbs. A fun afternoon out.
