Well I got a call from Shawn Mueller Friday and he said he wanted to get some crappie Saturday,  so I said lets go! Hit Flower Mound for the PM session. Water was stained,  wind out of the south east (the gusts were a pain but they died off towards the evening). First cast nothing, second cast bam! shawns in, large mouth about 2lbs, nice heathy fish.  continued to work our jigs seemed any thing with chartuse in it worked. Ended up with about 25 crappie with 17 keeper size, and 13 Lg mouth all in the 2-3 lb range. We called it quits about 5:40.  All in all not a bad day considering the cold weather we’ve been having the past week , water temps were about 39 deg.
