My wife looked at me as if I were nuts. It was pouring rain, 40 degrees, and the wind was whipping but I knew it was going to be awhile before I could get out there again.

The day was so so but I really like this lake. It has potential. I got there around 10 and left at 2. My hands were so cold I had a really tough time getting the hooks out of the mouths of the fish so I knew it was time. Water was 49 degrees and wind was variable out of the NE.

I caught 8. 4 keepers with the two best just shy of 4lbs. One was caught w a black/blue jig on the dam side and the other on a rage bug on the opposite side. Both fish came from under the grass to grab it.

There is a DD in this lake and it will be caught just off the point on the dam side. A nice point, grass cover, with easy access to the deepest part of the lake. It’s looks so so good.

merry Christmas yall
